Obituary:

Alda Louise Griffin-Josey, 76, of Gordonville, MO died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at her residence.

She was born July 3, 1932 in Lutesville, MO daughter of Lewis Emmanuel and Edna Josephine Johnson Mansker. She first married Paul Griffin in 1967 and he died in 1993, she later married Kenneth Josey.

Louise was a truck driver and of the General Baptist Faith.

Survivors include; her husband Kenneth of Coffeeville, MS; one step son, Paul E. Griffin Jr. of Jackson, MO; one daughter, Bonnie Bishop of Gordonville; two sisters, Lena VanGennip and Mary Parson both of Marble Hill, one granddaughter, Jackie Neal of Gordonville; four great-grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlin, Ian and Alec.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ervin and Almon Mansker and four sisters, Bertie VanGennip, Edna Gilder Rachel Winingnear and Francis Pratt.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home with Rev. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
