Obituary:
Ewell Clarence Pearson 99, of St. Louis, MO and formally of Grassy, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at his daughter and son-n-laws Linda and Ronald Grap in St. Louis.
He was born November 24, 1909 in Lamar, Arkansas; son of Seth Anderson and Victoria Patterson Pearson. He and Marie Henrietta Loedige were in married in November 1934 in Lamar, Arkansas and she died on October 12, 1997.
Ewell was a farmer most of his adult life, except during World War II, when he worked for Douglas Aircraft in Tulsa, Oklahoma as an Electrician. He was a member of the Grassy Friendship Baptist Church in Grassy.
Survivors include: one son, Kenneth (Ida Bell) Pearson of Imperial, two daughters, Linda ( Ronald) Grap of St. Louis, MO; Erladean (T.V.) Mattingly of Terre Du Lac, MO; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 8, 2009, from 9:30 to 1:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO.
