Obituary:

Bobby C. Henson, age 60, of Marble Hill, MO formerly of St. Louis, passed away Wednesday August 11, 2004, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born June 22, 1944 in Fisk, MO son of Clarence and Eulene Freeman Henson. He and Catherine Fisher were united in marriage on August 22, 1969.

Mr. Henson served his country proudly in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967, was a member and Deacon of the Point Pleasant General Baptist Church, a member of the Grassy Neighborhood Watch, Bollinger County Farmers Market and was a warehouseman for Vi-Jon Industries in St. Louis.

Survivors include: his parents, wife, one son Christopher Henson of Marble Hill, one daughter Melissa Henson of St. Louis, two brothers Larry Henson of Ozark, MO, Jimmy Henson of Granite City, IL, and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday August 13, 2004 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gerald Huff and Rev. Jeff Garland officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, with full military honors provided by the Missouri Military Honors Team.
