Obituary:

Mary Carolyn Thomas, age 69, of Marble Hill, MO, died Saturday, November 03, 2007, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 22, 1938 at Lutesville, MO, daughter of Roy B. and Margie Leona Kirkpatrick Underwood. She and Paul David Thomas were united in marriage on September 22, 1962 at the Lutesville Church of God.

She was co-owner of Lutesville Motor Company and a member of the General Federated Women’s Club, Girl Scouts of America and attended the Marble Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her husband Paul David, two daughters Lisa Thomas Choate of Fort Myers Beach, FL, Mitzi Thomas Rhodes of Marble Hill, one brother Rick Underwood of Marble Hill, and three grandchildren Collin, Krista, and Caroline Rhodes all of Marble Hill.

Preceding her in death was her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, November 5, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Marble Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating. Burial will in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
