Obituary:

Ethel M. Statler, age 90, of Marble Hill, died Friday, August 15, 2008 at the family home following an illness.

She was born October 5, 1917 near Lutesville, MO, daughter of the late Marvin and Lou Francis Eaker.

On September 7, 1940 she was united in marriage to George H. Statler near Lutesville, MO and he died January 9, 2004.

Mrs. Statler was a homemaker and a member of the New Sylvan General Baptist Church.

Survivors include; one son, Sonny (Geraldine) Statler of Marble Hill, one grandson Mark (Ladonna) Statler of Marble Hill and one great granddaughter Chyna Statler.

Preceding her in death was her parents, one brother and one sister.

In Lieu of Flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery Fund.

Visitation will be Monday, August 18, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
