Obituary:
Birdell Mouser, age 83, of Maryville, IL; passed away June 22, 2011 at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born March 4, 1928 in Lutesville, MO son of Melvin and Ivy Shell Mouser. He and Luveda Bea Eaker were married October 29, 1949 and she passed away on July 22, 1995.
Birdell had worked for the Terminal Railroad in Saint Louis as a Mail Handler and Baggage carrier. He was a member of the Bethany General Baptist Church, a deacon of the General Baptist Association in Alton, IL and a Mason.
Survivors include three sons Dennis (Peggy) Mouser of Lehigh Acres, Fl; Terry (Dawn) Mouser of Collinsville, IL; Glenn (Maria) Mouser of Maryville, IL; two daughters Donna (Charles) Campbell of Pontoon Beach, IL; Vicki (Ken) Moss of Fritch, TX; one brother Timmon Mouser of Bixby, one sister Melba Beasley of Collinsville, IL numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, five brothers Leslie, Loyd, Kelly, Robert and Arnold Mouser and one granddaughter Kelli Mouser.
Visitation will be Sunday June 26, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO.
Funeral Services will be Monday June 27, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
