Obituary:

Pauline Elizabeth Clubb, 92, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born in Bollinger County, Mo., daughter of Noah and Dora Ford Eaker. She married Cuba Clubb on June 23, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2000.

She worked for the rationing office in Marble Hill, Mo. during World War II. From 1945 to 1981, she worked at the Bollinger and Madison County Banks, where she held several positions -- assistant cashier, secretary, director, vice president and executive vice president. She was on the Bank Management Commission and was a member of the Missouri Bankers Association.

In 1951, she became a member of the GFWC Junior Women's club where she was a 50-year member. In 1984, she went to work for the city of Marble Hill and in 1986, when Lutesville and Marble Hill merged, she became the city clerk. She retired in 1990 from her position. She was also a member of the Rotary Ann Club, the Rebekah, the Chamber of Commerce in Lutesville and Marble Hill. She was also a member of the Cape Girardeau County Community Counseling Center, a contact person for the American Red Cross and she was a former member of the Lutesville Presbyterian Church, where she was a deacon and elder of the church. She was also a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary, and her husband Mark Crader of Sikeston, Mo.; two grandchildren, Laura King of Sikeston, Chris and his wife Anne Crader of Sikeston; and two great-grandchildren, Kristin King and Benton Crader.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Evelyn Ulmer.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday until time of service at the Lutesville Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Tom Bass officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.

Memorials may be made to the employee fund at the Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau or to the charity of your choice.
