Obituary:

Dorman Clinton Elledge, age 98, passed away September 25, 2021 at Woodland Hills in Marble Hills, Missouri. He was born July 7, 1923 in Marble Hill, son of the late Dorman Elledge and Bertha Collins Elledge. He was a veteran of the US Army and had been owner of Sikeston Ford Dealership before retiring. He is survived by one son, Roger C. (Tamara) Elledge of Sikeston, Missouri; one daughter, Sheila Teeters of Marble Hill; one sister, Mary Jean Null of Marble Hill; two grandchildren, Roger Elledge II and Sam Teeters; and two great-grandchildren, Madelyn Elledge and Jack Teeters. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. Another visitation will be held Saturday, October 2, from 12 noon until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. at Liley Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery in Marble Hill with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Shriners Hospital, Alzheimer’s Association, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
