Obituary:

Reta Faye James, age 68, of Wappapello and formerly of Glen Allen, MO, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006 at the family home following an illness.

She was born January 11, 1938 near Glen Allen, MO, daughter of Lester E. and Reba Rea Reed. She and C. J. James were united in marriage on June 13, 1965 at Marble Hill.

She worked as a road service technician for the Hertz Rental Agency in Oklahoma City, OK, before retiring, a member of the Scopus Church of Christ and an Air Force Veteran.

Survivors include; her husband, C. J. James, one son Richard J. Godar, Jackson, two sisters; Shirley M. Reed, Jackson, Evelyn E. Coomer, Oran, MO, three grandchildren; Levi Ruble, Zachary Payne and Travis Payne.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, March 6, 2006 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel with Kelly Francis and Kenny Francis officiating.

Burial with full military honors will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO.
