Obituary:

Janice Sue Snider, age 73, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, June 7th, 2021, at her home. She was born on December 1, 1947, in Bernie, MO; daughter of Leo L. and Letha B. (Ladd) Whitehead. She and Charles W. Snider were united in marriage on June 7, 1963, and he proceeded her in death. Janice worked as a seamstress of International Hat Factory and was a member of Balch Chapel where she loved to sing on Sundays. Janice was craft lover and a collector of antiques. She loved to find her treasures and yard sales. Left to cherish her memory are her son Terry (Paula) Snider of Marble Hill; grandson Levi Snider and great-grandchildren Katie and Emmah; grandson Zachary (MacKenzie) Snider, great-grandchildren Kwaid and Averi; grandson Shane (Kathleena) Snider; two sisters Donna (James) Hellings of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Marylee Fisher of Marble Hill. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Letha; four brothers, Billy, Ronald, infant brother Donald, and Garry Whitehead; and three sisters, infant sister Ruth Ann Whitehead, Shirley Carlton, and Alma Jean Fortner. Visitation will be at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill on Friday, June 11, 2021, from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. The service will be at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Terry Scott and Pastor Andrew Green officiating. Burial will follow in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill. The arrangements were under the care of Liley Funeral Homes in Marble Hill.
