Obituary:

Pauline Beard, age 78 of Eolia, MO, and formerly of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital West, St. Peters, MO.

She was born July 2, 1926 at Advance, MO daughter of Albert and Pearl Elledge Winchester. She married Warren Karr Jan. 3, 1946 and he died March 11, 1972, she married Darris K. Beard, Sept. 1, 1972 and he died Nov. 24, 1996.

She had operated Paula’s Beauty Shop for many years prior to retirement.

Survivors include a son Stanley Karr, Eolia, MO, Judy Barnoski, Manchester, MO, brothers; Ray Winchester, Mt. Morris, MI, Clyde Winchester, Jonesburg, MO, Bill Winchester, Washington, MO, Wayne Winchester, Wildwood, MO, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great grand child.

She was preceded in death by parents, husbands and one sister.

Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill Friday, April 29, 2005 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Overton officiating. Committal service will follow in the Chapel of Memories Pavilion at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
