Obituary:

Danny Lynn Parr, age 46 of Golconda, IL, died Thursday, June 2, 2005 at the Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis, IL.

He was born Oct. 16, 1958 at St. Louis, MO, son of William and Betty Cloninger Parr.

He worked as a car detailer for several car companies and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include; His mother Betty Williamson and stepfather T. H. Williamson, Golconda, IL, one son; Jason Parr, St, Louis, MO, two daughters, Danielle Parr, St, Louis, Rachael Parr, Dupo, IL, one brother Billy (Catherine) Parr of Columbia, IL, one step brother Bruce Williamson, Chester, IL, two sisters Michelle (Brian) Sumoski, Golconda, IL, Joyce (Ronald) Parker, Whitewater, MO, one step sister Paula Millman, Chicago, IL, one grandson Riley Ford, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father William, and one brother Bobby Parr.

Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill Sunday, June 5, 2005 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be Monday at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO.
