Obituary:

Virginia Marie Martin, age 69, of Marble Hill, MO., died Friday, February 6, 2004 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 31, 1934 in Delta, MO, daughter of Edgar Estes and Rebecca Garner Hinkle. She and Charles Martin were married 27 years ago, and he survives.

Mrs. Martin worked as a sewer for the shoe factory.

Survivors include; her husband, Charles, her mother, Rebecca Marie Hinkle, three sons Earl Obermann of Chaffee, Larry Obermann of Cape Girardeau, Terry Obermann of Dutchtown, three step sons, Frank Martin of Delta, Charles Martin of Kansas City, KS, Troy Martin of Scott City, three daughters, Brenda Carnell of Delta, Susan Reed of Dutchtown, Donna Davault of Advance, one step daughter, Vicki Buttry of Waco, TX, eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

Preceding her in death was her father.

Visitation will be Sunday February 8, 2004 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral service will be Monday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gavin Page officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
