Obituary:

Helen M. Garner,age 86, of Marble Hill, MO passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Jackson Manor.

She was born May 31, 1924 at Marston, MO daughter of James E. and Mattie L. Rooker Moore. She and Truman C. Garner were married October 30, 1943 and he died November 8, 1975.

Mrs. Garner had retired as an inspector for the Marble Hill Hat Company.

Survivors include: three sons, James C. Garner of Hawk Point, MO, Robert D. Garner, Foristell, MO, Ronald Garner, Marble Hill, two daughters; Lisa Gantz, Jackson, MO Beverly Welch, Murray, KY a brother Jack Moore, Wright City, MO, eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great--great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers.

Visitation will be Friday, July 30, 2010 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral Services will be Friday, July 30, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Bill McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
