Obituary:
Clyde W. Angle, age 76, of Jackson, MO, passed away Monday, October 10, 2005 at the St. Francis Medical center the result of a head injury sustained in his home.
He was born January 8, 1929 at Mayfield, MO, son of Walter Chandes and Delphia V. Green Angle. He and Verda Mae Mayfield were married May 21, 1951 at Piggott, AR.
He worked as machine operator for the Florsheim shoe company in Cape Girardeau, and was a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church at Mayfield. He served his country in the Korean War with Battery B of the 936th Field Artillery Battalion where he received three bronze service stars.
Survivors include; his wife Verda, two sons; Kevin Angle of Sedgewickville, MO, Kent Angle, Millersville, MO; a daughter Rhonda Koller, Jackson one brother Cletus Angle, Marble Hill, and one sister Pauline Wilkinson, Marble Hill, MO; six grandchildren and one great grandson.
Preceding him in death was his parents and one brother Lindell Angle.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 12, 2005 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill and after 10:00 AM Thursday Oct. 13, 2005 at the Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Church with Rev Jim Collins and Rev. Don Slatton officiating.
Burial with full military honors by the Missouri Honors Team will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery at Marble Hill.
