Obituary:

Linda Faye Armstrong age 68, of Marble Hill, MO; passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at her residence.

She was born June 15, 1946 in Bollinger County, MO; daughter of Ed and Anna Cook Long. She and Raymond Eugene Armstrong were united in marriage on March 6, 1965.

Linda had worked in Lutesville at the hat factory until it closed then went to work for Monograms and more in Patton, MO; she was a member of the Locust Grove General Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband Raymond of the home, sons Kevin (Cindy) Armstrong of Jackson; David (Melisa) Armstrong of Glen Allen, MO; daughters Penny (Donald) Hudgens and Shelly (Michael) Garner of Marble Hill; sister Jolene Amelunke of Whitewater, MO; ten grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; and four sisters.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Calvin Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
