Obituary:

Louella Lanigan, 69, of Jackson, MO, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born December 17, 1940 in Lutesville, MO; daughter of Lee and Maudie Mae Cook Estes. She and James David Lanigan were married on June 25, 1960.

Louella was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Millersville, MO.

Survivors include: her husband, James D. Lanigan of Jackson; three sons, David Allen Lanigan of Marble Hill; James Bradley and Michael Timothy Lanigan both of Jackson; one daughter, Leslie Ann Keith of Marble Hill; one sister, Helen Miller of Marble Hill; nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, Shelby, Lee Jay, Frank, Don, J. D. Estes, two sisters, L. B. Long and L. D. Estes.

Visitation will be Monday, December 13, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Daniel Hale officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
