Vicy M. Berry, age 94, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, May 19, 2004, at her residence.

She was born October 8, 1909 at Caruth, MO, daughter of William and Ivy Brown Lincoln. She and Pinckney Berry were united in marriage on March 5, 1926 and her preceded her in death on Dec. 28, 1989.

Mrs. Berry was baptized at New Salem Baptist Church where she was a member from 1926 until 1953. Then her husband and she moved their membership to the First Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death. She was a member of the WMU’S and a member of the Local Quilting Club.

Survivors include: one son William Berry of Dittmer, MO, one daughter Jarrell Kenner of Marble Hill, one sister Odetta Niswonger of Cape Giradeau, two grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Preceding her in death was two brothers, and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be Friday May 21, 2004 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home with Charley Hahn and the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
