Obituary:

Lindell Joy Myers Sr., age 71, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at his residence.

He was born December 26, 1935 son of Walter and Eva Jordan Myers. He and Hester Francis were married November 1953 and she died June of 1981 he then married Christine Hill on April 17, 1982.

Mr. Myers worked as a repair man all of his life and was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife, Christene, three sons, Lindell J. Myers Jr. of Longview, TX, William Myers of Glen Allen, MO, Melvin Dockins of Wittenburg, Wisconsin, four daughters, Barb Spangler of Desoto, MO, Connie Beel and Melvina Dockins both of Marble Hill, Darlene Dirnberger of Oran, MO, three sisters, Joanie Hanners and Anna Ireland both of Marble Hill, Charlotte Hays of Leadington, MO sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Kenny, two twin daughters Linda Faye and Brenda Kay two brothers, Alan and J. W. and two sisters Helen Haverstick, one grandson Tyler Ray James, and one great granddaughter, Mariah Jane Nenninger.

Friends may call Friday, January 5, 2007 at the Liley Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
