Obituary:

Pearl Jackson, 84, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Dec. 16, 1919, at Greenbrier, Mo., daughter of Harrison and Dorothy Swick Cato. She and Leland "Jack" Jackson were married Dec. 21, 1938, at Marble Hill, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dana Jackson of Medora, Ill., Kim (Kimberly) Jackson of Jackson; two daughters, Barbara (Oren) Cummins and Sherry (Albert) Brown of Bethalto, Ill.; three brothers, Leroy Cato of Puxico, Mo., Bill Cato of Dexter, Hubert Cato of Troy, Mo.; two sisters, Lora Wiseman of Advance, Mo., Kathryn Brown of Sedgewickville, Mo.; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jarel Jackson; and four brothers, Paul, J.T., Harold and Ronald.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Johns officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Marble Hill, Mo.
