Roger Dale Davault, 58, of Marble Hill, Mo., died at his home on Sunday, May 27, 2018. Born on April 27, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., he was the son of Dale William and Mary Ruth Williams Davault. He married Tamara Lynne Fetterhoff on June 28, 1986, at New Salem Baptist Church. She survives.
Roger was a graduate of Woodland High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. He found his professional calling in sales and marketing. For many years he worked with Old American Insurance Co., of Kansas City. He had many fond memories of his business sponsorship of a nationally recognized Davault softball team.
He served Bollinger County as a reserve deputy sheriff and actively worked with the Southeast Missouri Law Enforcement Academy as a firearm instructor. Roger opened Midwest Sports and Specialty Advertising as a local gun shop, sporting clay’s range, and screen print shop.
Roger was dedicated to his wife and family and worked with his wife, Tammy, at the screen print shop up until his death. He was a lifelong member of New Salem Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and chairman of deacons. He was active on the family farm in 4-D Cattle Co.
