Obituary:

Raymond James Collins, age 73, of Marble Hill, MO died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at the Elder Care Nursing Home.

He was born September 14, 1930 in Schlatitz, MO, son of James Henderson and Hollie Roberts Collins. He and Sylvia Long were united in marriage on October 14, 1950 in Piggott Arkansas.

Mr. Collins was a member of the Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church and attended the First Baptist Church of Marble Hill. He worked for the M & G Company, Save-way appliance & gas Company, Uregas as a driver, and worked for a service station.

Survivors include; his wife, four sons; Dennis Collins of Sedgewickville, Roger Collins of Union, Gary Collins of Grand Tower, IL, Brad Collins of Oak Ridge, one daughter, Betty Rambo of Marble Hill, 17 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his parents, one son Tim Collins, two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be Thursday February 19, 2004 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the funeral home chapel with Revs Fred Ritter and Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
