Obituary:
Juanita McCall was born on March 2, 1945, the daughter of Ora Otto and Precious Pearl Blocker Fox. She departed earthly life on July 8, 2014, at Woodland Hills Nursing Home in Marble Hill, Mo. She was 69 years, four months, and six days of age.
Juanita married Lloyd McCall in 1965. He died on December 17, 2010. She worked for Paramont Headwear in Marble Hill for 36 years. After the plant closed she worked as a home health caregiver for Pyramid Health for 11 years. She enjoyed working and the fellowship of her coworkers. Shopping and eating out, along with gardening, were favorite past times. Visiting Branson, Mo., was a trip she did frequently. A well-known fact with family and friends was her preference for the color yellow.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca, of Nebraska, and her three children and grandchildren; two sisters: Mildred Henson and Connie Terry, both of Grassy, Mo., and four brothers: Jackson Fox of California, Lindsel Fox of Nevada, Mo., Jerry and Richard Fox of Marble Hill. Besides her husband she is preceded in death by brothers: Denver and Ora; and sisters: Vonda, Brenda and Geneiva.
Visitation is Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral hom. Jason Henson will officiate. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
