Obituary:
Mrs. Lewis Gibson, a former resident of Lutesville, was fatally injured in an automobile accident Wednesday near Gatesville, Texas. Mrs. Lewis was alone when the accident occured. She had been to visit her husband, Sgt. Lewis Gibson at Fort Hood, Texas, and was returning home. Mrs. Gibson's car struck the side of a bridge, and she was thrown out of the car which then struck her.
Florence Marie is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Johns of Lutesville. She was born July 16, 1937 at Sikeston, Missouri.
She graduated from Sikeston High School. She later graduated from Missouri Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Surviving, besides her husband and parents, are one brother, Harold Johns of Lutesville, Mo.; and one sister, Mrs. John D. Burk of Marble Hill, Mo.
Sgt. Gibson had resided in Kennett, Mo.
Funeral Services were Sunday at First Baptist Church in Marble Hill. Burial was in Bollinger County Memorial Park.
