Obituary:
Milford Cleo Upchurch, age 99 of Marble Hill passed away on December 24, 2014 at the Woodland Hills Nursing Home.
He was born November 30, 1915 in Marble Hill, MO; son of Ralph Edgar and Ida Shrum Upchurch. He was raised by his father and step mother Rada Ellen Thomason Upchurch. He and Lela L Bollinger were united in marriage on December 21, 1939 and she passed away on August 28, 2010.
Milford was a farmer and worked in logging all of his life, served his country proudly in the US Army during WWII and attended the Mt Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include; sons; Milford (Pricilla) Upchurch of Buckley, WA; Jerry (Sue) Upchurch of Millersville; sister Marjorie Grindstaff Macomb, IL; three grandchildren Karen, Brian Upchurch and Kimberly Heaton, and four great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was his parents, brothers Medford, Edwin and an infant, sisters Elsie Lou, Iva Dell and Kathleen.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the Liley Funeral Home Rev. Micah Bristow officiating. Interment will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery with full military honors.
