Obituary:

Lillie M. Glasener, daughter of the late Rev. W. H. and Minnie Vietta Moyers Stratman, was born in Bollinger County, Missouri on March 25, 1914, and passed away at the Puxico Nursing Center in Puxico, Missouri on July 12, 2011, at the age of 97 years, 3 months and 17 days.

She had lived in the Zalma and Puxico, Missouri areas all her life. She enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn, raising flowers and fishing.

On December 26, 1931, she was married to Jessie Clyde Glasener in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1961.

Surviving are one son, Harold Clyde Glasener of Zalma, Missouri; two daughters, Betty June Simpson of Wappapello, Missouri, Lillie Darlene Price of Puxico, Missouri; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one brother, Herman Stratman, one sister, Beulah Stratman and three half brothers.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 10:30 AM at the Bollinger County Memorial Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri with the Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico, Missouri officiating.

Interment will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Cemetery in Marble Hill, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
