Obituary:

Willard R. Hahn, age 88, of Marble Hill, MO died Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.

He was born February 22, 1916 in Bollinger County, MO, son of Jacob M and Laura M Eaker Hahn. He married Ferneita A. DuLaney on September 3, 1938 in Jackson, MO.

Mr. Hahn was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church in Marble Hill, where he served on the board of trustees, an usher, Choir member and various other capacities. He also served on the Lutesville town board up until the towns of Lutesville and Marble Hill consolidated, then served on the Marble Hill town board, served on the Lutesville and Woodland School Boards, owned and operated the Hahn Market for thirty years in Lutesville, MO.

Survivors include: his wife, three sons Harold Hahn of Wentzville, Gary Hahn of Hillsboro, James Hahn of Festus, three daughters; Carol Stone and Gail Halbert both of Cape Girardeau, Anita Smith of Evansville, Indiana, one sister Juanita Sample of Marble Hill, fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Visitation will be April 8, 2004 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. Funeral will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the Marble Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
