Obituary:

Garry Eugene Lincoln, 62, of Marble Hill passed away June 17, 2010, at the emergency room of Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born at Cape Girardeau on June 19, 1947, the son of Dwel Wayne and Juanita Limbaugh Lincoln.

Garry was a 1965 graduate of Patton High School. He entered the Army in 1966 and served in Vietnam with an Armor Division. After his discharge in 1968 he married Ann Taylor on Dec. 7, 1968, in Joliet, Ill. Garry retired from the Missouri Highway Department as the foreman at the Patton Maintenance Shed.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Scott Lincoln of Cape Girardeau, Tony Lincoln Jr. of Marble Hill; grandchildren Tony Jr., Jarret, Jenna Morgan, Wyatt and Adyson Lincoln; a brother, Jimmy Lincoln of Millerville; and a sister, Glenda Hanners of Marble Hill.

His parents and a brother, Wendel Lincoln, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Officiants will be Rev. Roy Michael and Dr. John Engelhart. Burial will follow at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.
