Obituary:
Michael Mark McCollum, age 63, of Cape Girardeau, passed away December 1, 2010 at his residence.
He was born September 22, 1947 at Little Rock, Arkansas; son of Ernest Eugene and Mildred Sherry McCollum. He and Mary Ann Howard were united in marriage on July 5, 1975.
Mr. McCollum worked for VIP Industries, was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Haven of Hope Pentecostal Church in Marble Hill.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary of Cape; mother, Mildred McCollum of Baton Rouge, LA; one son, Martin (Briana) McCollum of Valparaiso, Ind; one brother, Mackie McCollum of Tampa, Fl; two sisters, Sherry Mayberry of St. Louis, MO; Sandra Rikoff of Baton Rouge, LA; and two grandchildren, Emily and Catch McCollum.
He is preceded in death by his father.
A graveside service will be held at the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Wells officiating on Monday, December 6, 2010 at 10:00 AM. Liley Funeral Homes in Marble Hill, MO is in charge of arrangements.
