Obituary:
Dona Aslee Tinsley, 86, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was born August 12, 1924 at Lilbourn, MO; daughter of George and Bertha Wilkerson Lewis. She and Joseph A. Tinsley were married on December 25, 1941.
Dona was a Teacher, Supervisor for Family Services and a homemaker, a member of the Senior Citizens Club and was a member of the Haven of Hope Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Joseph Tinsley of Poplar Bluff; one son, Danny Joe (Diane) Tinsley of Kansas City, MO; one daughter, Linda (Robert) Dever of Poplar Bluff; two granddaughters, Renee (Michael) Berry and Regina Kay (Bryan) Stevenson and five great-grandchildren, Natalie, Cameron, Preston, Julianna, Adam.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, George, Charlie, Nathaniel, and two sisters, Helen and Omie.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 27, 2010, from 11:00 to 1:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Wells, Rev. Stan Gleason, Rev. Jerry Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
