Obituary:

Loeta Lavern Eaker age 83, of Dardenne Prairie MO; passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at her residence.

She was born September 27, 1931 in Gravel Hill, MO; daughter of Otto and Lillie Bollinger Huffman. She and Welbert ”Bill” Vandrew Eaker were united in marriage on February 21, 1948 and he preceded her in death on November 21, 1964.

Loeta worked as an admissions clerk for the Forrest Park Community College and loved doing gardening and sewing.

Survivors include: her daughters Wanda Ross of Allenville, MO; Loretta Meyer of St. Louis, County, MO; sister Vivian O’Connor of High Ridge, MO; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter Wilma Lee Damlow, brother Bobby Thiele and sister Bonnie Huffman.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 10:30 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Jordan officiating. Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.

In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
