Mrs. Arnold was born on April 1, 1920 in Bollinger County. She moved to Poplar Bluff in 1954 and was a retired restaurant employee. Her hobby was flowers.
Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church where she served on the Alter Guild and was president of the St. Margaret’s Guild for many years. She established the Holy Cross food pantry and served as the director for the past eight years. She was instrumental in starting the church’s annual Eugene Field School fund raiser with proceeds providing needed school supplies for the second grade.
