Obituary:
Orville “Bud” Chancellor Jr., 80, of Marble Hill, Missouri passed from this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.
He was Born May 28, 1937, in Holland, Missouri, son of the late Orville Chancellor Sr. and Mary Ruth Davis. Bud and Karen Thomason Chancellor were united in marriage on July 7, 2001.
Bud was a life-long avid hunter as he would hunt deer, coons, ducks, coyotes and squirrels. He enjoyed putting the grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the front loader as he carried them with the tractor. He loved John Wayne movies, old country music, and western novels. Bud loved telling old stories and enjoyed telling jokes to his friends and family. Out of all the hobbies Bud had, he enjoyed watching his children grow and being a family man. Bud was best known as Daddy to his children and Pee-Paw to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Karen Thomason Chancellor; two sons Jeffrey Chancellor of St. Louis, MO. and Kenny Hall; one daughter Annette (Mark) Collins of St. Louis, MO.; four step-children Marie Cole, Jerry Lee Cole, Robert Cole and Ruth Ann Palermo; his previous wife Betty Martin Chancellor; grandchildren Marcus Collins, Jason Collins, Sarah Sanchez, and Jacob Chancellor; great-grandchildren Dalakai Parker, Lealand Parker, Kaiden Collins and Lucas Collins.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Robert and John Chancellor and one step-daughter Mary Ann Cole.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, MO.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home, with Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO.
In lieu of flowers donations are appreciated to the Patriot Guard.
