Obituary:

Ruth F. (Teeters) Miller, 91, of Cape Girardeau, MO, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape.

She was born January 11, 1917 in Grassy, MO, daughter of William Lorance and Emma Elizabeth Patterson Francis. She and Robert Claude Teeters were married on May 8, 1939 and he died March 26, 1964. She then married Truman J. Miller in March 1990.

Mrs. Miller a member of the Scopus Church of Christ, a retired school teacher where she had taught in many of the Rural County Schools, also at Woodland, Zalma, Jackson and was a member of the Certified Teachers Association and the Missouri Teachers Association.

Survivors include her husband Truman, two sons, David Teeters of Charleston, MO, Bill Teeters of Marble Hill, two brothers Gene Francis of Marble Hill, Ralph Francis of Nelson, GA, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by; her parents, her first husband Robert Claude, four brothers, Raymond, Claude, Henry, and Glen, three sisters, Oma Phillips, Pearl Francis and Ruby Reitman.

Visitation will be Thursday February 7, 2008 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with Kenny Francis officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
