Obituary:

Bobby Joe Arnold, was born on June 5, 1940, and died on May 27, 2015, at the age 74.

Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico is in charge of all arrangements.


Bobby Joe Arnold, son of the late Robert and Leora Mayfield Arnold, was born in Zalma, Missouri, on June 5, 1940, and passed away at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on May 27, 2015, at the age 74 of years.

He spent most of his life in St. Louis, he moved to Puxico twelve years ago and worked for Advance Trucking until he retired. He had attended church at the Baptist Church in Malden. He enjoyed attending car shows and motorcycle shows.

Surviving are four sons, Robbie Arnold of Fifty Six, Arkansas, Jeffery Arnold, Mickey Arnold and Todd Arnold all of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Robert Arnold of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Carter of Puxico, Missouri and Wanda Ross of Melbourne, Florida. He was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 6.00 to 8.00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.

Funeral services will be Saturday May 30, 2015 at 10.00 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Robbie Arnold of Fifty Six, Arkansas officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Gardens in Marble Hill, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
